Bio
Bay Area resident and Oakland native, Mustafa Bey is a Senior at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University where he is pursuing a B.A. in Mass Media of the Arts. Bey is also a member of the Greek organization Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Something he values about himself is that he never gives up; no matter what obstacles come his way he will always preserver. If his mind is set on a goal, he will do everything in his power to accomplish it. He always maintain the mind set "one monkey doesn't stop the show" because the marathon continues. An aspiring sports broadcaster and basketball trainer, his professional interests include sports analysis, radio hosting, athletic training, and more.
Mustafa currently works as an intern at Fox Sports in Los Angeles, CA where he is working in the video operations and stream department. A shorter name that they prefer to call video operations and stream is (tech-ops). His official title was Digital Fox Sports Tech-ops intern, in which he was a part of a team on the digital media side of things for Fox Sports helping with different tasks. Due to it being a completely remote internship, he did not have the luxury of being in Los Angeles on the Fox Sports company campus. While working for Fox Sports he had many responsibilities, took on important roles, had great accomplishments, and built great relationships through networking.
As someone who is passionate about sports, he always wanted to work in the industry as a sports analyst or journalist. With a longstanding history of playing sports throughout his life, he understands how much goes into making the sports industry the conglomerate that it is today. His ultimate goal is to be a person writing and reporting on great players as well as a positive contributor to the future of the industry. As someone who loves the game, he wants to be apart of telling the stories and narratives of players as well as contributing to making the industry greater.
